About
Chantal
Hi, I am Chantal Piercy,
a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C23-059) with NSCCT and Therapeutic Play Practitioner. I am a person-centred practitioner who uses core conditions of acceptance, unjudgmental empathy, and unconditional positive regard within the therapeutic relationship. I can build rapport quickly with children and adults, allowing for therapeutic goals to be met and positive change to occur. I use Hypnotherapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, Play therapy and other talk therapies through a culturally humble, inclusive, trauma-informed lens.
I work through the ethics of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) CCPA-2020-Code-of-Ethics-E-Book-EN.pdf (ccpa-accp.ca)
If you have a complaint this is the procedure: Filing a Complaint | Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (nscct.ca)
